Beary Christmas

Merry Christmas Everybody. Chloe and Marin had a wonderful day today. Santa came by and dropped off some gifts for the girls. Chloe left out lactose free milk and sugar free cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeers. We're hoping that the reindeers had eaten because Chloe ate most of the carrots. Hope all is well and talk to you soon.

Chloe has been very busy with her artwork. She's very useful with her crayons, markers and pens and loves to experiment with different mediums like carpet and walls. Check out her pen and ink sketch that she has titled, "Momma, Dadda, Baby".

Sisters

Chloe and Marin have been spending a lot of time getting to know one another. Chloe has been a great big sister. Not only does she offer up warm hugs but freely advises on how to deal with over bearing parents.

On a cool autumn day Chloe took a walk around her neighborhood. She also stopped by to see her friend Beverly at Starbucks.

Marin and Missy came home yesterday and they were greeted by a very excited Chloe. Chloe had plenty of kisses for her new little sister and was eager to share her snacks and blanky.

Our friend Matt came over for a visit and Chloe found a new best friend. We went for a walk around the neighborhood and finished off with a children's book about daylight savings time.

Chloe dressed her baby in a pumpkin suit, played with leaves  and had a nice visit from her Uncle John. Chloe wore post Halloween Cat Suit with a jailbreak jumper.

Hair Styles, Uncle Kevin and Halloween Accessories

As tired as little Marin was today she still found time to get her hair styled by a brand new baby hairbrush that we bought at Walgreens. Unlce Kevin came by to say hello to Marin while the little thing yawned and snoozed. Marin also found out that being born one day before Halloween means mandatory costuming and/or accessories.

Chloe went on a neighborhood Halloween adventure which included stealing pumpkins from neighbors, traipsing through cemeteries, petting rats, posing on people's porches and taking a break at Starbucks.

Marin Grace Had A Good First Day

Marin and mommy are relaxing and recovering in their room right now after a long day. Marin did a great job getting her first bath, first bottle and first nap in mommy's arms. She hasn't had her first hair styling because we didn't expect for her to have so much hair nor did we think to bring a hair brush.

Check Out the New Kid

Hello everybody. I'd like to welcome the newest addition to the family. We've named her Tammy Faye Nio. Just kidding. Her name is MARIN GRACE NIO. She weighs 7 lbs. 2 oz. She's 19.5 inches long. Looks just like her big sister Chloe but has lots of hair.   

A New Bear is Born

We're in the hospital right now. Missy is waiting to get juiced with an epidural before we go into the OR for the Big "C".  We're anxious to meet this thing. We have two name sequences ready but won't give it to her until we see what she looks like. If both name ideas don't feel right then we're in trouble. Stay tuned.
